Dropped you a PM - have had Dynamic pack with previous 6 and Air on my current PE - personally, I went for air this time around - you are welcome to have a play in the car if you are in S Wales. I don't drive it hard enough to notice the difference. Either way , whatever you end up with, you will LOVE the car :)

Hi all,
Am I right in saying the standard air set up doesn't come with performance/sports exhaust but it is standard with the Dynamic pack?

Just contemplating the same thing. Also my old B7 RS4 suffered with leaky DRC. Is that a problem still on the C7?

Cheers

This comes up quite a bit, I have a 2017 PE with DRC, I didn't want dynamic steering so didn't go for the pack, exhaust comes as standard on the PE. I found that the car rolls quite a bit on air and though it's not really a car to push around corners I still wanted something that wasn't quite so boaty. That said, I reckon that air probably suits the characteristics of the car better.

Thank you. A lot of the ads state Air but no mention of the exhaust on the PE so good to hear.

Can't wait to get in one now.

I don’t agree with all what your saying there re pushing around the corners.

An RS6 on DRC with KW HAS, good Michy tyres and a good geo isn’t too shabby around the north East’s finest A and B roads you just need to be weary about its size and having to kill the speeds into the turns Image

I wouldn’t let the exhaust put you off either you can buy a brand new milly non res for around £1500 or the APR flavour for £2k+.

The sports exhaust was not standard on the RS6 other than with the performance model. The sports exhaust is purely a sound upgrade, there is no performance gain.

The DRC problems are much rarer on the C7. I recall a handful of issues on here but by and large it seems they are mostly OK.

Cheers Mike, yep I was happy with the exhaust note on the Performance and remember the difference a Milly made to my B7...neighbours hated it so doubt I will go down that route for a while.

So to confirm, Air or DRC the Performance will have the Sport exhaust.

Still gutted I missed out on yours. :boohoo:

Hi guys,
looking at a Performance Plus with Ceramics and the description says Adaptive Air Suspension?? Is that correct or a typo?

I may pull the trigger on this today if it has DRC which I thought was standard with Dynamic Pack Plus??

Based on the Audi brochure, Dynamic Pack Plus is DRC, steering and ceramics.

However, I saw an advert recently where it was advertised Dynamic Pack Plus but pics showed it didn't have ceramics.

Thank you,
This deffo has ceramics but the description threw me. It also has Alcantara and I'm not sure about it, particularly when it gets old. Has the blue stitching too which I'm not keen on.

Decisions......

Hi Shane,

Just to add to the confusion.....

Ceramics are available on their own as an option.... SO deffo worth checking if it does have DRC i.e The Dynamic Package Plus OR if the seller is confused and thinks that because it has Ceramics it has the DPP??!!

IF it has DPP and the price is right, then it sounds like a good car to me

Cheers,
Lig.
