It's a buyers market, surely? Go and find another car / dealer and punish them with your negotiating skills and access to separate finance brokers.

No, it’s not a buyers market as there no new supply. Dealers can wait for a deal that suits them. Sales are restricted so they’ll maximise profit wherever they can.

I’d agree on that right across the Audi range dealers can’t get new cars something to do with this emission test boll###s. They want top money for what they have as they know you can’t get it anywhere else

A lot of various cars have gone up in value in the trade the last 6-9 months and in particular VAG cars. 6 months ago a up to 1 year old golf that was costing 14k trade is now going for our 17k trade, if you can get one.

Having recently purchased an RS6 I was 4-6 months too late to an extent as prices were getting higher the longer I watched.
