What about these i would keep the car looking OEM not sure if they fit as i tried these on my B8 RS4 the backing plate on the RS4 is smaller than the R8 but the wiring was fine i sold mine onto Glenn at Revolution as the fitted the RS3 lovely billet aluminum worth seeing if the fit

Quite like those... and not stick on either. Full on replacement.
The maccarbon ones are replacement as well but 600 quid is a bit steep..
