But if you want to quickly get into dynamic mode then just pull the gear lever into sport as this has the same effect in terms of engine/ throttle response, gearbox and exhaust. Much quicker than fiddling with the menu even if you have the right screen up on the MMI. The suspension / diff won't change to dynamic by just pulling the gear stick but if it's for a quick overtake etc then it works for me. I generally stay in dynamic all the time and just change between D and S using the gear lever for sedate or angry modes.
I'm sure my car has the map in the DIS and its a 2013 car, I will check and report back.

Must say ACC, is a must especially in average speed zones, all the assist functions are good and I use them often, B&O is amazing and I will always seek a higher spec hifi on my future cars, LED lights are also a nice feature and defo a step up from the xenons. I have no regrets not having DRC, air is so lovely and comfortable. I think if my car had ceramics and the sunroof it would be a long term keeper, but I'm happy with things as they are for now. the only thing you will miss about the C6 is the sheer power of that V10 especially at the top end and the noise if you had an aftermarket exhaust on it. to compensate I keep my car in sport most of the time now :biggrin3:

Possible it's sold already I guess! It would've been mid 60s too.

Search returned it straightaway.

I saw the cat D one when I was looking. It looked nice but you may never find out what the damage actually was or if it's been stolen recovered. Plus more difficult to sell on.

My thoughts exactly! May call them up to see what's what but as you say the dreaded Cat D can be a poisoned chalice

Ok so today I went to Cambridge Audi to have a look at two cars:

https://usedcars.audi.co.uk/usedcar/aud ... ,1,t_geo,U
https://usedcars.audi.co.uk/usedcar/aud ... ,1,t_geo,U

Test drove the blue one and yes theres quite a difference between the C6 and the C7! Felt much lighter and more frantic plus a lot more tactile. Loved it. Wasn't too keen on the fake exhaust note piped through the speakers (the M5 has this and was rightly mocked for it), but overall as expected an awesome car and a proper step up from the C6. The grey one had the sports exhaust which sounded a lot better than the stock one (the dealer said the Milltek is also a must have), my Milltek tends to dominate the drive which is great.
Comfort mode on DRC was surprisingly smooth (compared to the bouncy castle ride on comfort in the C6), and the dynamic steering felt fine too. Loved the way the arse end wriggled when I nailed it first time!
Then came the big sticking point. They loved my car but as predicted it would go to trade and their figures were pretty dire for me to get into the 13 plate: £10k down and then monthly premiums of £790.00 (5.9 % APR). Ouch. Even if I had £10k to put down I wouldn't (not on a car anyway) and certainly not with those premiums. My car is on finance and is currently in £1k negative equity. Bit of a disappointment but am not admitting defeat just yet. Am going to call around other dealers and Independents to see what they can do and go from there. It may end up with me privately selling my C6 but will see what the others say first.

Surely, you either put down a bigger deposit, or you have bigger monthlys? If you want to put down a smaller deposit, you will have bigger monthlys! :bigblink:

If the C6 is in negative equity (according to Audis valuation as a px) absolute minimum you'd need Audi to increase the C6 px by a grand to match, or better still sell the C6 privately and pay off the finance and pocket any change to put towards your deposit.

Whoa, this one is expensive -

You would get in to a FL for that money!

The spec was impressive and sounded great with the sports exhaust. I couldn't even get into the cheaper one so there was no point chasing the daytona one.

Will chase down some other avenues but its looking more likely that I'll be putting my loon up for sale on here and go from there.
I was also considering looking at RS4's but I think I'd miss the power and I was also shocked to learn that they only have a 55 litre tank only and get around a 300 mile range. Thats the same I get from the C6.
