The lack of touchscreen capability was my first thought, too. I have only used Apple CarPlay on a touchscreen MMI and it sort of doesn't make sense without one. That's a good point as surely the whole point is that CarPlay mimics the screen of your iPhone so would I'd guess have to be touchscreen. Only car I've used it in is the Gen 2 Porsche 991 & it worked a treat, although I didn't try it out it's functionality extensively.wildbore wrote:The lack of touchscreen capability was my first thought, too. No touchscreen - like on the new a4 works with wheel on mmi. Which does provide a little hope that FL with nvidia could very probably add the functionality with sw upgrade.
