Ok, I just logged on to myaudi. You went to the correct one right? Not the US version? It should be the my.audi.com version not audiusa.com/myaudi.
Once logged in, on ther homepage I scroll down the page and there are a series of boxes that I believe they are calling widgets.
On the 2nd row down and 3rd along I have one that says Audi RS6 Map Update. Admitedly, there are a few Connnect widgets there too, but some are not Connect related.
Do you not have any widgets at all? Not even one called Details & Equipment?

I've done the download this morning. It's quite Java sensitive, you'll be asked to download a Java runtime. If it doesn't open straight away you need to sort your Java.

If you have myaudi, no cost. SD card, min 16GB. No issues with a Mac.

I think you are allowed 5 free updates. Not sure if that is for the car or the person ie if previous owner had 2 updates I'm not sure if the car is allowed a further 3 or all 5 for new owner. I imagine it is per car.

Just worth mentioning that the automatic updates are applicable from a certain date. My car is a 2014 model and I haven't been able to get the updates via myaudi - the option (widget) simply isn't there. The supplying dealership contacted The Audi UK Connect specialist who confirmed it was a no go. Apparently it is in the later brochures that you can update via myaudi but not the launch brochures. I can of course pay for the pleasure of my local dealership updating the MMI.

My myaudi account is saying to enter a pin in the mmi in order to link the car. Where in the mmi menu does this need to be entered?
