Nice looking car and you went for the carbon pack ...
Have you thought about having the carbon parts clear wrapped to stop them chipping ?Going to get mine wrapped but not until February so at the mo have no idea of cost.

That's a good idea that I hadn't considered before.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I started out looking for a Nardo car but came across this and just loved it. The depth of shine is incredible.

On the exhaust front has anyone got a Milltek resonated cat back system fitted? Ive been recommended that this will sound a lot better than the oem sport system without any drone / resonance that may be there with the non res version. Just not sure it will be a worthwhile change from the oem system? I had a non red Milltek on a RS5 and it sounded awful in the car so just don't want to make the same mistake. In contrast my old R8 had a Larini club sport which you could hear from miles away but was always refined in the car.

Congrats on the new car. Colour looks awesome and I bet even better in the sunshine. When we eventually get some.

With regards to the sports exhaust. I've found that as the miles are adding up on my car, 10,500 up to now, the sound from the exhaust has increased. It's louder and has a deeper tone to it. It still won't be as good as a milltek but the tone has deffinetly changed. Im not sure if anyone else has experienced similar.

Enjoy the new car

Every car I will buy from now on will have a clear front end and headlight +wing mirror clear wrap
I had RIV done, so pleased as I don't have one front end chip after 20k miles

Yeah you see, I'm in the other park - just get it blown over if it irritates. One of my buddies owns a really good body Shop. However the carbon, well thats different isn't it - that i suppose would benefit from protection.

I'm with you Boff. Clear wrap ain't cheap and cannot protect you from a boulder bouncing up your bonnet, except that you'll have to peel the wrap to deal with that, and risk peeling half the paint in the process. There's a man who's ace with a paint gun near me and that's the path for me.
