Glad there's a few people saying its the nest car they've ever had because a lot of people (myself included) say that about the B7 and was a bit worried that the next car will just seem a bit dull over the long term. I still love driving the B7 after over 5 year's and probably love it more now than when I first got it. I'd like to feel the same about the C7 in a few years.

fair dooos zeeb, you are so right, all about smiles, and let's face it when you spend this sort of money, you are not going to worry about the MPG,I do not get anywhere near 30 mpg in this country,so it must be long runs with CC on the autoroutes which makes it, who knows ? as for the B7 mikes post, I had one for 8 years, an abso brilliant car, waiting for the C7 I had a B8 for 6 months, unfortunately that left me cold after the B7, the C7 is just a different car and mind blowing quicker than the B7, I do wish I could have afforded to keep the B7 as well, because that car was an Audi masterpiece but of course was starting to feel antiquated by the time I got rid.

Nice review , also find the rear squidgy under decent acceleration but now used to it. Hard cycled the brakes to bed in and they do very nicely now. And if you drop one of the rear seats you get a more acoustic experience. Love it :)

Great tip on the surround view, for all those reading i'd have the DRC in a heartbeat (well I'm going to) the air for me whilst great, just wasn't "flat enough" the car did pitch and roll on the air a lot, as described that feeling of pushing I put down to the pitching of the platform due to the lack of hydraulic roll bars.

I'm coming from a b8 and I have to say I got back in my b8 after the c7 and felt a lot more connected, I cannot comment on the b7 - wish i could; but I'm encouraged to hear that the b7 guys say their is life in the c7 after b7 because it gives me confidence that I'll not be wishing I held onto the B8 which is my current concern!

Mag ride would be awesome, but we are stuck with DRC as the suspension option, I've not driven drc on the c7 but have it on the b8 - and it's great.

I've been smashing around the UK in my B8 all day and it has been great, actually (now off thread) went to look at a mini clubman cooper s for the mrs, they are incredible little things.

I wasn't impressed with the ride / handling of the air suspension either, but as I've not driven a DRC C7 I'm not sure if this was due to the air or just the size / weight / balance of the car.

Yeah, same; i am literally fingers crossed that the DRC sorts it out. what I would say though - this car is SOOOOO powerful that the dynamic of how you drive is very different, it is a dangerous dangerous car, but the power coupled to the 4wd, when it wiggles you feed the power in and the thing just straightens out and fires off up the road like nothing i have ever driven.

As a fact it is the best overtaking car ever, which makes it a pleasure on those long UK single carriageway A Roads. an absolute smiler.

I remember in my 911TT being able to "plan" to annihilate 2/3 maybe even 4 cars ahead, the B8 doesn't do that - the C7 DOES big time, just be careful of the number you've hit executing the overtake

I think they have changed the air on the FL car? There is absolutely no pitch or roll on dynamic. It corners flat even at stupid speeds. I had DRC on the last RS6 that's why I don't have it now. but hey everyone is different.
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Hmm. I drove both and opted for DRC, world of difference.

it was the roundabout exits that made it pitch and roll, felt like the front passenger side was "falling off"

I'm glad to hear that DRC is much better than the air because the air did not impress.

If you want to smash it - Mike DRC is the only way, air felt like my range rover out of roundabouts, also driving it in that way made the wife feel sick. DRC has got to be the way
