RS6 Performance Figures.... 0-60/100mph

My C6 hits 0-100 at around 7.5 +/- a few hundreds in the 6 "tests" I did using a 10hz Vbox type setup.

The biggest issue for me was bogging down off the line which annoys me when I see other C6 vids on YouTube where they rev to 3K (on the brakes) then shoot off with no issues hitting 60mph in mid 3 seconds etc where as my best is 3.9sec which gave a quarter mile of 11.14@129mph (1.8sec 60ft). If I could sort the launch out I think I could get my 0-100 down to sub 7 seconds.

That's actually dougs photo but mine was identical (literally - 2.9 and 6.7 sec). Just in sport, ESP fully off, left foot hard on brake, bury right foot, build to revs (holds at approx 2.8k if I remember) release brake.

Hmmm, tried that and mine holds at a much lower rpm, around 2200-2300rpm IIRC which explains the bogging down.

I thought I'd see how the RS6 performs in standard form so this morning I stuck a racelogic performance box to the car and done a few runs. Apart from Audi telling us that it does 0-100kmh (62.14mph) in 3.9secs and the optional top speeds, there's not a lot more to go on.

My car is brand new, 65 reg with little miles on the clock. Road was completely flat and temperature 14.5c. I used launch control ( ESP off/Dynamic/Revs at 2600, oil temp 90c+)

I've tested a lot of Audi's in the past and found their performance stats to be conservative. The RS6 is no exception.

So Audi quote 3.9s 0-100kmh, in reality the car is doing it quite a bit quicker than that. 3.48secs and for us in the UK, 0-60mph in 3.27secs

Wonder what the figures will be like if tuned

A good set of figures and benchmark for a completely standard brand new car in mild conditions. It may go slightly quicker than this come Nov/Dec with 0c and below temperatures and more running in.

I will see if I can get it to the dragstrip to see what it will do over the 1/4 and I'll also be testing vmax at some point either on the Autobahns or Bruntingthorpe.

It didn't stay standard long enough to get any further figures out of it I'm afraid.

Stage 1 (tune only) it went 2.9 and 6.6 to 100.
Stage 2 I suspect will chop at least another half a second on the 100, 60 is limited by traction and wheel spin, not great this time of year so haven't tested that yet.

Yes, MRC.

Just had the full Milltek fitted with the resonated centre section and the decatted downpipes/2nd cat bypass pipes and it has made a good difference even on the initial Stage 1 map. Getting a Stage 2 tweak this week though so if I find a dry enough stretch of tarmac, ill try do the figures again. Was apprehensive about the Milltek beforehand but have been thoroughly impressed with both the noise and performance difference it has made since it was fitted last week. Should be around the 750 mark with the tweak

nice. Plus being in Sepang blue makes it go just that little bit faster due to the make up of the paint.........
