The RRP for the Akrasystem is £6339.84.

Just so you know the warranty is still valid if removed and then fitted to another car!

Akrapovic offer lifetime warranty.

No droning and the fact they use titanium and inconel in materials means no warped exhausts after years of use. Great product

Wonder if I'll be able to cancel the sports exhaust I've ordered? I think that grand would be better spent elsewhere it seems?

If not locked for build, then you can amend spec.

The issue I have with it and reason I haven't pressed ahead and snapped your arm off is not down to the price but the fact that it's just a catback system.

You're essentially paying £4k for the exhaust note, there will be next to no benefits from the performance side, all the exhaust gains are in the OEM downpipes. Don't get me wrong, a lovely piece of kit, the best of the best if you like but let down by the fact it's not a full system for me. You can buy a new Milltek catback for less than half of the £4k you're asking for and the whole system which will allow you to go Stage 2 (+50hp) for £3.5k

You're probably best trying ebay to sell this one, a European buyer I suspect will snap it up if you're having no joy here.

We recently visited the Akrapovic factory in Slovenia around 4 weeks ago and its certainly not an exhaust note you pay for. The materials used as far superior to anything else in production which is Titanium and Inconel, and as a result there is no warping after a year of use from stresses caused by movement.

Just by adding the system alone you gain only 7HP but you also get 15.4 NM and with a re-map you have a weapon!

Ive driven RS6 with both Miltek and Akra and persoanlly would go with the Akra everytime. Cant stand the droning in the cabin from the Miltek.

No drone with my Milltek, guys that fitted it do Akra as well and agreed with Leo not worth the extra £££. Wouldn't buy off this guy anyway he ignores you and then when you finally do a deal sells it to someone else and just blanks you!
