Sorry, I can't add much else at this time, the bulletin is spot on and the same information I received this morning. Gutted for you guys waiting, I've got a few cars stuck during the build process, an SQ5 and A4. I'll post when if I'm made aware of any further developments. If you were asking my opinion, I believe RS models will be affected - although it only lists the 'A', 'Q', and 'R' range. That's purley my opinion though, not based on any fact.

Many thanks for the update and any news you may have!

I'm presuming there's no case here for us to argue that we specifically ordered cars for a certain timeframe or season and we're potentially not getting them? I'd frankly mine defers to spring '16 than take it so late...

Thanks again.

I have (at the moment) build week commencing 20th Jul for September 2nd delivery. Spoke to my dealer yesterday at 3pm and he had checked the system but as yet no change (see how long that lasts). I will move delivery until March 2nd rather than take the car in November or even worse December. I had a similar issue with my RS4 2 years ago after a fire in the engine factory (cursed). Will post if I receive an update
C7 RS6 Exclusive Lava Grey on the way
B8 RS4 Daytona (2013) Gone
SQ5 Glacier (2014) wifes car

C63 Saloon 2011 Gone
M3 Saloon 2010 Gone
X6 2009 Gone

Ive just rang up audi UK to express my concerns and the whole situation. They said my car is at BW 28 currently and could just be a precaution to cover there own backs. I hope this is the case i would to have my BW24 back also the extras are cuasing a hold up. Yeah i know they will but not its kind of taking the bisicuit so a case manager will call me within the nexct 48hrs and probably just apologise most likely. :audibash:

Well my news is a relief:

Hi Rob,

Great news,

Your car left the factory today and was released to the ship. So unless they are letting cars go without door handles, we are safe on your particular car J

I would nip out and buy a lottery ticket while you are on a roll....

Best wishes
Clare

Not sure how that works, but I won't complain. Until is turns up with no way of opening it. Wishing the rest of you luck that your cars aren't affected.
