RS6 C7 Order UK status - please add

doodlebug : Ordered Early March - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept, now pending
glm: Ordered 31st March - no build date - claimed due due to ceramics shortage (also an exclusive paint order). dealer Says due next update 15th Sept - perhaps expected Order jan 15
jezitalia : Ordered April - build week last week October - Delivery scheduled 1st / 2nd week Nov
Chesterfield : ordered End June - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept - Status Unknown now week 37 (1st week September)
gdavison : Ordered End July - No Build date - No further update promised from Audi UK until Mid October

The delay in ceramics is legitimate. I'm having the same on my RS4 and they're on the same discs as the c7
I did hear that the same discs are also used on the turbo s 991 porsche, and I've a friend who's getting delays on one of those too
Fingers crossed, my RS4 was built this week (I ordered in march)

If it is the ceramics, or the paint or the whatever, they should say so. But the whole A6 fiasco leads me to believe there's more to it. Never going to get a straight answer of course, though I feel an email to Mr Konsbruck coming on. Can't fault my stealer, but ze Germans/Audi UK are clearly pissing about.

If 991 has delays too then that could piss on my alternate parade.

Historically I have had a "conversation" going with Audi Customer car on twitter

So today they called me to discuss my "rs6" order .. I briefed them and they said they would look into it ... I shall report back if they give us any more info

In my conversation I mentioned there where approx 5 other guys I knew in a similar situation

I have toyed with writing to Andre Konsbruck, but will see what the dealer, who is fighting my corner, comes back with. It's a very shitty situation that AUK has put its dealers in.

I've posted this before, but this isn't a recent problem.
Ordered mine on 1 July 2013 - collected on 2nd Jan 2014 despite original delivery date when ordered of early Sept which just slipping and slipping - eventually they even managed to lose the car ie couldn't find it anywhere on their system - it just turned up one day at the dealer

Update from the dealer as follows:

"checked again today and the order is still confirmed. As soon as it goes to a status 20 we are all fine and the car still has build week 38"

This was following a pressing re the info you are all providing. Hope this helps in your discussions, and that there is no nasty surprise awaiting me!

Still think its nuts that the Ultra is taking precedence over RS versions, but i would be biased.

If I can't get a plan this week it's going in the bin. I'm not being pissed about anymore. As it is I think we've been more than tolerant as a bunch.

AUK have a lot to answer for.

Am I flight in thinking that if my build week is next week, then it should be showing as status 20 or whatever it is? Or would it be best to get it straight from the horses mouth at Audi UK?

In which case how would I go about getting confirmation one way or the other as to whether my car is being built or not?
