What tires are being delivered?

Mine arrived at the dealers at the weekend, had a quick look yesterday and its on Dunlop's. There was another one parked next to mine and that one was on Conti's, I call that a result

No, You don't get the option of asking for what type of tyre you want. It's a result because I had Dunlop's on my one of my RS5's and they were good, had conti's on my RS3 and they were <beep>. I've got a couple of pictures but they were taken quite late on an iphone so the quality is not good. Anyway, it was still wrapped up on suspension blocks so not the best look for the car. I'll get some up when I pick it up

As far as I'm aware they are sportmaxx gt's. I think they are the only tyre Dunlop do in 285/30/21 size. Hopefully, your month will pass quickly. I ordered mine on 27th August so I know what a long wait is like

Driven cars on both and say the Dunlops are marginally better than the Conti on public roads and much better on track.

Both occasions where back to back and in the dry and damp.

I can't vouch for the wet.

Now driven the lovely rs6 for a nearly two months. Best car all categories i ever tried!
Min was delivered woth 275/35/20 pzero with the noice cancelling system. Sure its low tire sound, but when i truely push the car, i feel the car itself has enormous potential, but the tires arent quite there, so what does the panel think about swapping to the michelin pilot super sport. Had the mpss on golf r and the b8rs4 love them! Why should they not be great on the c7rs6?

I too have the Pirelli tyres and was quite impressed with the level of sound reduction they provide. Would be really interested to hear how you get on with the Michelins if you opt to try them

Mine came with 285/30/21 Conti tyres....I was hoping for Pirelli. Dayem.

So talking of tyres I thought I would have a look interesting. I've seen 3 different 14 plates all on different tyres one on continentals one on Dunlop and one on Pirellis.
