Tuned versus tuned not a chance, the c7 would leave that big an initial gap the c6 wouldn't claw it back. Don't tell me c6 owners are like b5 owners are to the b7? And what c5 owners are like to the c6 etc I wouldn't have a c6 but I'd bite your hand off for a c7. All done to opinions, pretty sure we'll see c6 versus c7 duels soon enough

Have any of you guys seen the numbers people are getting with just a remap on the c7? Over 700/700 how fooking fast is that going to be on the road

True for the C7 vs C5, but not vs C6.
Any performance advantages of the C7 vs C6 would be due to the slightly less weight and the quicker box with better launch control.
But once on the move, the C6 raw peak power would have the advantage.[/quote]

The C7 is down on peak power (although up on torque) of the factory, and it blows the doors off the C6. It's noticeable the minute you put your foot down in the new '6. The marginal weight makes little difference, but the shorter ratios in the 8-speed box compared to the long geared 6-speed in the C6 is the biggest performance benefit. With similar power figures, the C7 is always going to be quicker, doesn't matter how much of C6 fanboy you are!

Its funny cause its alwaya the same discussion. When m3 e92 came the e46 owners initially talked the new version down.
Same goes fore 997 vs 991, B7/B8 etc.
