The Audi reps I spoke to said that places/slots filled-up very quickly, so much so they had to pull in additional cars to reduce the waiting.

My mate who has a S5 V8 booked a Rs5 test drive which he was keen to swap to but that didn't happen...he did get a drive in a R8 V10, but he is never gonna buy one of those.

Certainly worthwhile as getting the chance to try the B8 RS4 has saved me 30 grand, but RS6 for me was vastly superior to the RS4. maybe a a used one in couple of years whilst I save up.

I did BH this morning in the RS6, total waste of time, 70mph limit and i got stuck behind an RS4 doing 45, i went through the pits to try and find some space but ended up getting stuck behind his mother in a TT ...

i cancelled my drive in the R8

Postal invite waiting on the doormat when I got home last night via Hitchin Audi who service mine, part of the Jardine Group that also own MK. Booked by phone this morning, thought it was better than email. I'd love to drive the R8 and RS6 again but they are way out my league, so booked to drive S3 (weren't any at Millbrook) and RS4 (which I missed out on at Millbrook)

What you doing over in Mid Glamorgan? You moved? Just clocked you are the same Malcolm who had the C5 RS6+ and recommended me Hitchin Audi - your location confused me! I was told the day starts 10:30am and I'm booked 10:45am S3 and 12 noon RS4, will stop for lunch with Audi, got the day off work. What you driving at the moment, an AMG?

For a start they are all during the working week with is a PITA.

I would only really be keen on trying the C7, I've owned all the others and tbh they all pale in comparison to the R8 V10

I only got 1 invite and it was from Audi Leicester who I've never used in my life but was complaining to them recently about the hire car my wife got when it lost all it's oil in one day. I have used Camberly and Victoria Audi for my servicing but got nothing from either of them. Audi Victoria and Leicester are both part of Sytner though so could be rleated but I bet it was after talking to a guy at Leicester when I tried to get an RS5 or RS6 off them while they fixed her car.
