Bhp and the ability to get to 60mph or 100mph is only part of a car's ability for me. I am also very interested in the torque, or the car's ability to move from say, 30 mph to 70 or from 50 to 90 mph. I am still a lover of a manual gear box, but in an RS6 we're talking auto. So my ideal gearbox needs to be smooth and rapid in it's delivery of the 700nm of torque to provide a WOW factor .. That in my opinion is what an RS6 is all about.
I personally am not a speed demon, so even I may want the ability to get to 130mph rapidly during overtaking, my ideal cruise speed is sub 100 mph.
