Great spec - very balls out. B&O too - go big or go home!

I need to settle the air vs DRC debate in my head before I commit. Noggy is going to look sweet.

Good luck in the den.

Thanks Paul buddy, the B&O is something I have been playing with a lot.... and I mean a lot - I had a car for the weekend with the Bose, and compared to the B8 B&O it wasn't as good. And I do like my music, a lot.

I may end up dropping it back off the spec, the rest of it is based upon my experience in the B8 and this being a keeper whilst i build up the company. A lot of stuff is put on to help reduce driver distraction whilst the bloody thing smashes its way into the stratosphere, example HUD. I love the advanced key on the b8, surround view is needed as it is huge, parking advanced is needed for the mrs, and is funny!!

Keeping away from nightsight and ceramics.

But Paul believe me the Air is nothing like the DRC on the B8, that is why i need DRC. Go drive and air car and tell me you disagree? Audi Citys demonstrator is on Air, ring Martin Roberts and see if he can lend you it - it's a sytner group car so maybe they can move it to your nearest sytner dealer.

Nice. The only change I'd make is adding the dynamic pack.

Plus, were you are the rear side air bags are for adults and not children's protection?

Andy, good spec! Brave going for the blue carbon!

Pretty sure the speed limit display is just a VCDS code change so I'd look into that a bit first rather than spend £250 for nothing.
Trying to talk the missus into going to dealers (the dealer we use is quite a distance away) so she can test drive it so I can take some music with me and test the B&O out properly. Take some FLAC files with me too to really give it a work out. I tried the FLACs on my wife RS3 and they didn't work but she has the lower spec sat nav so suspect that is the reason.

Thanks mate - that's a good shout re Audi City. I have the joy of Reading Audi nearby who are Shytner too so it's worth a go! I definitely do need an extended drive in both types as I suspect an Air PE may be a bit of a contradiction.

I'm going to be tweaking the config a lot. At the moment, there seem to be a few slots available which means they're getting locked very soon after confirmation. Parking Advanced sounds absolutely essential.

Funnily enough, I have those 2 photos on my phone and kept looking at them when deciding the colour of mine. In the end I decided that I'd regret buying it in any other colour than black and I'm too impatient to wait for an exclusive colour.

I ordered on Sunday and tried to change spec on Thursday but it was already locked. Build starts on 18th Jan (week 3).

Yeah, the dynamic pack is the sticking point. May just add DRC and HUD - not so keen on dynamic steering.

Interesting when it comes to the rear side airbags. Do you mean they're ineffective for kids? (Mine our out of car seats).

Exclusive paint will bugger up build times.

I'm not sure PE has so much more that it's going to make a material difference, there's no more torque. Still, i'd take DRC every time with the C7.

It is. A friend of mine has activated a load of things on his new TTS, using VAGCOM...

High beam assist
Adaptive Cruise
Speed limit display
Traffic Sign Recognition

Adaptive implies the radar was fitted. Isn't as a matter of course on anything else I know.

ACC works in two ways. The first is by using the front camera and the radar then merging the two data streams together, the other way is the same as used on the VW golfs which just runs off the front camera, the SAME camera that's fitted to the TT. So it means you can also add things like traffic recognition as well... all runs off the one device.
