Ridex HPFP

Post by RS6108 » Thu Oct 16, 2025 5:45 pm

Hi all,

Mine seem fine and i have zero issues but i know they have become a common item to replace with age and mileage

Has anyone had any experience with the Autodoc Ridex HPFP or anything Ridex related?

They seem good on price and are the only ones in stock anywhere.

cheers

Personally i see Ridex parts as the cheapest on the market by a large margin which makes me think that they might be inferior quality. But thats my opinion

Hmm, Ridex, eh? Availability is tempting these days. High Pressure Fuel Pumps...the bane of many a modern engine! Wonder if the internals hold up. Seems risky, yet convenient. Once had a similar struggle finding a niche part for my old beater, a real availability Slope Game situation to work through. Ended up using a junkyard find after weeks of searching. Anyone else taken the Ridex plunge?

Autodoc's own brand apprently. Classed as budget friendly! Running an RS6 and the word budget do not go together

Price has dropped to below £200 on AUTODOC for the ridex HPFP.

I’m tempted but it’s a little bit of an unknown.

Is this something worth doing as preventative maintenance? Mines a 2015 on 99,500 miles.

I spoke to a few specialist and they did say it seems to be a common problem past 80,000 miles.

It’s really easy job but expensive on parts. I would say it’s preventative maintenance. I will be doing mine when AUTODOC have them back in stock.
