Maintenance service soon…

Post by Tadass910 » Sat Jan 18, 2025 2:29 pm

Hello,

My Audi service soon to come, any ideas what kind of works Audi do at that mileage? (204k kilometers) Thanks

P.S thinking also to change oil in a same time, but looks like oil change not soon, maybe I will wait for oil and do only maintenance

Good to see your car going strong at that mileage!

I usually change the air filter and brake fluid every 2 years.

In the UK, Audi recommends a major service every 40k miles (60-65k km). Essentially spark plugs, diff oil, in addition to the usual service items. Not sure if you had these done recently enough.

Have you had to replace the timing chain, tensioner or turbos during that time?
How often was oil service done (every how many kms)?

If not done so, worth checking or changing your high and low pressure fuel pumps. Rest would be suspension components at that kind of mileage

Thanks

I think you would be looking at fuel starvation on the top end. A dyno would show this. Difficulty in starting
