Depends what year it is? Most not all of the facelift models can have the system updated with new maps and carplay added for very little or zero cost. Pre facelift: need an external unit

I would say not to get the car play ! It’s a waste of time , as you need the car to be connected at all times with a wire to the phone which is defeats the purpose imho
