Blowers only blowing COLD...even when water/engine hot

Post by gary.gary.gary » Sat Dec 19, 2020 2:24 pm

Hi Guys

This one is driving me mad.

Its getting cold out...and windows will steam up!

Aircon ON = Freezing cold air regardless of heat setting, even when engine hot = its colder inside the car than outside!
Aircon OFF = Windscreen steams up
Windscreen demist button = Freezing cold air for ever

Recirculation adjusted both ways, no difference.

Eventually, (after 25 minutes and endless setting changes (moving air flow settings manually, and air blower speeds), the thing warms up.

Does anyone have any experience of this? What does anyone suggest please?

Thanks

Hi,

My english is not so good , i will try to explain little bit. Range rover vogue situation- my friend have same problem like yours.

Temp is 90 Celsius but no hot air in cabin. It is some big problem with block or seal on block, something like that.

Please don’t take this 100% same problem like your but it is very similiar.

The wife’s Merc just had this problem and was a sensor/thermostat problem.
