DRC failure continues... Make sure Audi changes EVERYTHING!

Post by LRB23 » Sat Dec 05, 2020 10:24 pm

Back in February my DRC failed 1 week after collecting my car. She was dropped off back at the dealer and Covid lockdown shortly followed, resulting in my car being stuck in limbo for 3 months. Annoying they had the vehicle before lockdown was initiated but refused to work on it as I was not an essential worker. Finally in June I got her back and managed to enjoy a nice summer with the RS6 tearing up the mountains in the South of France.

1 month ago I started hearing that dreaded clunking noise once again at slow speeds. I could also see a difference in the ride height on the rear drivers side. My heart sank... not again.

I had the original diagnosis from the Audi dealer in France and compared it to the dealer in the U.K. who carried out the warranty repair and noticed they hadn’t replaced. Funnily enough another fellow owner posted about making sure this is changed. Fortunately the dealer here in France got the part and installed it for free.

I’m so glad to have it back again just in time for winter. For anyone out there with DRC issues insist everything is changed.
