MMI crashing

Hi,

I was driving along at the weekend and this following started happening - anyone ever had this sequence?

- MMI Screen goes blank
- Speed limit sign display disappears
- ACC warning that it isn't functional
- ACC warning that braking guard isn't functional
- Speed limit sign system says its limited in its functionality
- Volume of the sound system can't be changed
- MMI Screen closes
- MMI screen opens showing the MMI rebooting
- All systems back to normal
- Then the sequence repeated itself 5 mins later and then about an hour later


I did a 10 minute school run this morning and the same thing happened.

Would it suggest the forward looking camera system has an issue as I know that's where the speed limit display and ACC use that camera? But would it cause the whole MMI to reboot itself?


Also my washer jets stopped working 2 weeks ago, not sure thats linked (would be odd I guess, and maybe a coincidence) - am trying to get it into Audi, but easier said than done right now

i had the exact same issue. Booked it in with audi and they flashed the MMI with the latest version of software and i;ve not had the issue since.

It’s booked in next week so hopefully it will all get sorted
