Spacers On Standard PE

Post by ShaneyB » Thu Dec 12, 2019 3:45 pm

Hi guys,
2 months of ownership and love the C7. A bit like my wife in that I love all the curves but sometimes wish it was just a tad slimmer.

So in contradiction to the above somebody has suggested putting 12mm/15mm spacers on my car but without lowering it. What do you think? Will it look a little naff?

I also have a phobia of going anywhere near width restrictions and most multi-storey car parks so I'm guessing this wouldn't be the best cheap mod.

Any thoughts/pictures appreciated.

Cheers
Shane

I'm sure there is a thread about this already with photos.

I think it'll be an improvement but lowering will look much better.

And lowering is very easy if you have air suspension

Cheers guys,
I have DRC and 285 21" tyres.
I don't want to lower it just yet so I may go to R-Tec and have a look at some on.

Thanks all.

I put 295 section tyres on, and 5mm spacers all round (so inside of tyre is where it was, and outside is +10mm.

Stance looks great, and no rubbing. And yes on DRC, not lowered. :boots:
