Question on options.

Post by CyanideX » Thu May 23, 2019 7:08 pm

Hi All,

Stepping into a 2016 RS6 performance next week and wondered about the options as I'm a little confused. The Spec sheet states Dynamic packaged - Does this mean it has DRC?

Has Matt Paint
Dynamic Package
Top speed increased
Parking aid Pack Advanced

Should I be looking at a car with higher spec than this? The car is stunning that's all...

Cheers

Yes it has DRC, that’s part of the dynamic pack as is top speed increase. It’s not a bottom dwelling spec but it’s not interstellar either.

Says 5.6k on the HPI report. Car does look the works. Need to find a good deal on a miltek and a place to fit around Shropshire!

Only you can answer that. If that is genuinely the only options it has then that is really just paint, dynamic and parking as the to speed increase is part of dynamic pack as is dynamic steering (and DRC that was already mentioned).

Matt paint was £5675.

Don't forget, as its a Performance it also includes as standard privacy glass, Sports exhaust, an optics pack & 21" wheels.

And ensure you like the paint and are happy to maintain it. It’s somewhat marmite.

Paint is what I love about the car the most, options packs always confuse me, Coming from an M5, Anyway

Any carbon bits? Interior carbon is very popular. Looks rubbish without it in my view. And then there's the whole pan roof debate. Very polarising. Some folks (like me) wouldn't touch one without it, others wouldn't want one with it.
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

Carbon interior is standard. Mirrors and front/rear splitters are optional.

I see. Guess the cars I have seen without interior carbon weren't Performance models then.
