Front Splitter

Post by DaveBee » Sat Feb 02, 2019 8:13 pm

Has anyone with an additional front splitter had any problems with speed humps? Especially the sort that are square shaped in the middle of your lane? I'd like to fit one and maybe side skirts and some other bits, but this area seems to be full of side streets with these appalling things in them.

Thanks,
David

I have a front splitter. No problems so far but I don't have many speed humps around here. Also depends how low you are. Mine is 3 piece so if you smash a bit you only need to buy the bit you smashed rather than the whole thing. Most people i know that have them have damaged them at some point mainly when parking though.

Yep, unfortunately I've realised it's a no good for me. I don't think I'd get over said speed bumps, but I also realised yesterday I wouldn't get on or off my mums drive which is on quite a steep slope. Back to the drawing board... Front side splitters only, rear door sides, behind the rear wheels maybe or the other alternative, nothing at all :)
