RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Morning All,
Huddersfield Audi have KM16 FCF for sale and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this car. I've been looking for an RS6 for a while and they've had this one for sale for a good few months. It looks like a nice car, my only concern would be the Lunar Silver interior. Are there any issues that anyone knows of?
What's everyone's thoughts on the car and the interior please?
Thanks,
C

This one? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... romSA=true
I don't know the car but have been studying the market extensively for months (I bought my RS6 a few weeks ago after a 4 month search), and this looks a decent price and spec.
You've probably seen these cars but this one is a good comparison (has the same seats though, which it sounds like you are not too keen on). https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... romSA=true
Don't know your budget of course, but I would also check out this car and try your arm at getting a decent discount. The spec is amazing - one of the highest specs for sale today anywhere.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... romSA=true. Ceramic brakes on these cars are fantastic (an £11,500 option - together with RS suspension with dynamic ride control, dynamic steering and top speed increase to 189mph - i.e. Dynamic Pack Plus), and this one also has the ridiculously priced B&O Advanced Sound (a £6,300 option).

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Hi Zappy,
Yes, that's the one, thanks for finding the link. I'll need to see the interior for myself before I know how keen I am. I wish it had ACC and 20" alloys too, so it's not my ideal car.
Thanks also for the other two links. The Panther Black one is indeed amazing, however, not for me. I need to be able to tow, so no DRC.
Did you just keep watching Auto Trader until a car of the spec. you wanted appeared? What was your main criteria for choosing (ages, miles, spec,...)?
Thanks again,
C

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Yeah, pretty much. Generally I found autotrader to have most ads. I looked at Audi approved used too as some dealers didn’t put all cars on autotrader. When I had a bit more time I did other general web searches as not all dealers will use autotrader, but in the main I found it a pretty decent source. I have other cars so wasn’t in a rush so made my “must have” spec list and my “nice to have” spec list, set a mileage and age limit and just waited. New RS6s come onto autotrader almost daily. A car with the spec you want is most definitely out there and sod’s law says it will appear shortly after you compromise on a car that’s not quite right but just about good enough. If there are things you really want the car to have then if you wait they will turn up.ChrisYates10 wrote:

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
The car was for sale at Nottingham Audi in August of this year:
A KM plate means it was probably a Audi owned press/event/experience car, so check the history of it thoroughly before committing as it might have led a very hard life.

I've seen this car in person and purely from the outside looked like a good example. It did have a little bit of road rash on lower sills. Did wonder if it had been running spacers.

I think it’s a good call to let this one pass given the info coming forward in the forum Chris. You’ll be in the right car soon enough I’m sure.ChrisYates10 wrote:Thanks Everyone for your feedback, very helpful as always and much appreciated.

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
I'm missing my RS6 a bit and am tempted to get back in if I can convince my better half that its safe on the drive after our theft - and whilst the interior on the one above would not be top of the list there isnt much missing elsewhere....humm. new year new rs6 ? i'm a bit out of the loop now but clearly no more factory orders so previously enjoyed seems the only option just now.....Sedge5 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 9:49 pmGet it already..... this car is loaded! Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Sorry to resurrect this thread but I've just bought this RS6!!!! It attracted my attention because it is pretty stealthy for an RS^ and will suit my needs perfectly. This is my first RS6 and obviously first post on this forum so "Hello" everyone. Firstly the car has had one private owner before me and has been serviced by a main dealer on the dot- I even have the invoice for this. It's not on spacers and is, what I think, is a lot of car for the money having done my research on these. I think it's in immaculate condition given it's age and mileage too- so I pulled the trigger and bought it. I'm blown away by how good it is. This is a keeper and I'm just hoping the Lunar interior stands the test of time! I'm looking forward to posting more stuff and learning all about RS6 C7 ownership.

Welcome and enjoy your new purchase - great colour!
Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Thank you very much! I have previously owned a B8 RS4, nearly pulled the trigger on the new RS4 but just seemed a bit too boring to drive and doesn't have that subtle aggressive look. The RS6 is on another level!
