New brake pad/disk options?
Re: New brake pad/disk options?
Audi through someone like Crewe or Stoke who occasionally ebay some great packages. I bought new discs, pads and sensors (front and rear) for £1195 delivered. Still a fortune but less than my dealer wanted to supply and fit a set of front brakes.
Just need to find someone good to fit them now.
By the way, what mileage are you at?

Re: New brake pad/disk options?
As/when new Discs are needed on my PE, I plan on getting either Alcon or AP to manufacture some bespoke 2 piece rotors for the front. These should be very similar to the Alcon upgrade discs for the Nissan GTR. Initially, they will be a little more expensive than the OEM option but after that, you will only be replacing the outer rotor, not the bell reducing the cost substantially.
Re: New brake pad/disk options?
I know someone that fitted a set of Alcon or AP discs (forget which) and took them off very soon afterwards and bought a set of ceramics.
