SQ7 is definitely one of the best cars on sale now. Crazy engine, very good handling (when equipped with the 48v shocks) it goes around corners like you would not, B52 sound, incredible refinement, good economy, most spacious interior out there, Audi fit and finish. No looker but neither is the Panny. Just came back from a 400km drive going up to 240km/h and constantly cruising at 210...its like I never left the house. ZF8 still the best tranny out there...
I had a SQ7 all day last week and it left me totally cold

Few weeks before I had brand new Cayenne V8 diesel. More involving to drive and nicer place to be inside

I'm supposed to have new panny 4s diesel for 24hrs soon which I'm really looking forward to.
Totally disagree. We have the latest Cayenne Turbo in the family and it feels positively prehistoric next to the SQ. Nicely put interior but feels very dated. Infotainment is plain wrong.

The one I had was £85k spec and yet still felt cheap in places.

Looked very plain

Didn't sound at all special on inside.

Only relatively cool bit was dash and Nav but it was same as what my dad has in his new A4

Cayenne is about to be replaced so I'd expect it to feel comparatively old.

Turbo needs a few things fixed in the next gen namely super laggy engine with HUGE appetite for oil, infotainment, Aisin 8 not as good as ZF8, noise is bland just loud with no personality. I hope they manage to fit the SQ7 engine (electric compressor included) in the diesel verion, they couldn't do it in the Panamera and hence the journalists complaining of lagginess down low.

Shame on you, Rs6 nice car, keep in mind that you will be demolished by a Rs6 from a stand still with your other choice
Shame on you, clearly a tad too much of a fanboi. Yes the C7 RS6 is a great car, but thinking one's better than the Panamera Turbo is a tad optimistic at the very least. As for performance, it's safe to say the RS6 has 0 chance of demolishing the Panamera.

Exactly. Porsche best of 11.4, RS7 11.7. They didn't film every run, you have to listen too......

:bigwave:

My C7 managed 11.37 completely standard with 575 miles on the clock

With reference to the Pistonheads dragrace, he quotes 11.7 as the quickest time for the RS7 but the video of the side by side, it posts a time of 11.69 which for all intents and purposes is an 11.6 run, the same way a 10.99 1/4m run is a 10sec capable car. Those times suggest he was not launching the RS7 (Holding it on the torque converter) as they should in theory be a little quicker than 11.6-11.7. Regardless, who cares :D The Panamera is a nice car, I very much doubt there's a performance difference in the real world to shout about, a quick blip of the throttle in either car and you're watching out for the blues.

Edit, just watched him launch the car again, yes, he's rolling it off the lights, no Launch (The front end does not lift and there's no revs) - Bloody amateurs :D :D
