Audi Connect

I have just bought a C7 RS6 Performance from Audi UK, but it does not have Audi Connect, so a couple of questions.....

1. Can it be retrospectively fitted?
2. Is it worth having and why?

1) Not easily. For a start, your VIN needs to be registered with Audi as having Audi Connect for the service to work, so it's not just a question of fitting new hardware.
2) Yes, it's worth it if you have the opportunity to specify it from new. It gives you internet searching, google earth mapping and some other stuff that's handy. On a £25K A6 I wouldn't bother specifying it, but on an RS6 it is part of what you expect from a car. But it's not worth the cost and hassle of a retrofit (even if you could get it to work, which is doubtful).

I wanted 360 parking cameras retrospectively fitted, as I hadn't spec'ed it from new......Audi wanted 2000.00 to fit....!!

Hazzy Dayz want £2.8k plus vat for all the cameras so 2k from Audi doesn't sound too bad.
