MMI - App connect

Post by jipettersen » Tue Mar 14, 2017 7:57 pm

I heard some Audis have the option where you can access oil lever for check, lock or open the car, start parking heater (if you have it installed) and so on...
I use the Audi Connect app on my 2017 Perf but i dont have this feature. So far the only thing i can do is transfer routes to car navi.
Yes i have a SIM in the car.
Maybe thats not an option on the RS6?

I noticed this too. I assumed it was an engineer's project that never got finished. It also said somewhere else that it is only available on the newer cars like the latest gen Q7 (the manual was not specific to the C7).

I've just downloaded the app. It's registered the Mrs new A3 but I haven't got time at the mo to fiddle with it and work out how it all works.

Just downloaded also.

Put the VIN in and comes up with a few things but sys cannot connect to car? I'm presuming it's because I do not have a sim installed yet?

Poor show from Audi really, I had a very similar thing on my M4 which I bought new a few years ago, no SIM needed and could do loads of things including flash lights, lock doors etc.
