Silver Wheels > Titanium Wheels

Post by markwm » Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:56 pm

Found a used car that's perfect spec except the wheels are silver not titatnium. Am I right in thinking it's simple a matter of paint colour/refinish and can easily be changed over to titanium and look the same as the titanium wheels?

If it's the optional 21s then they have a diamond cut face dont they? If so they will need to be cut again after spraying (unless masked off which is probsbly too tricky and not a great finish). Bear this in mind. Also heard that once cut again they are more susceptible to corrosion (protection applied not as good as factory). I've no experience of this though as I've only ever sprayed whole wheels and not diamond cut them.
