Should be able to keep the flaps open permanently thrue VCDS.
Interesting. Might have a look at that, but now I have the delete units there is no need I guess; one less thing to worry about recoding if Audi ever update my software. Also, the delete units stop any dirt getting into the sockets.

Yes, they plug into the plugs you pull off of the exhaust valves.

Can buy from UK supplier here:
http://www.venommotorsport.com/product/exhausts/EX1504/

I know it says Audi A3 but they have the same part number and I bought mine from here and can confirm they work.

Ordered the downpipes and catless midpipe now :)
So i will soon have the full turbo-back catless none resonated system..

A friend of a friend is working on a Bluetooth unit that you plug in to OBD-port on VAG-cars so that you can open and close the valves with your smartphone (Or a switch in the car if you prefeer)

I really hope he suceed. Would be aweeesome :D

Preliminary install-date next Saturday! (in 9 days)

Afaik Milltek itself was/is working on their own can-bus module that allows you to custom 'remap' the ECU valve system.
Last time i checked with them they were testing it out on the BMW platform but were working on it for Audi.
At least for the BMW customer was able to manually program 'any key' in the car (steeringwheel for example) to manually bypass the vavle open/close.
Apperently it is out already, haven't checked with them if this is correct and at what price...

Hmmm, i think i confuse it with the vavlesonic 'plus' module. That is out already for the BMW platform. Not sure how it is different then the audi 'module' shown on their images on their site. Maybe this features the 'custom button mapping' where the first module is without the button mapping.

I had a quick check today...

Hmm, looks somebody had already unchecked my flaps! Still doesn't answers why the left valves was stuck in the close position :s.
Guess i'll have to check it back on, cross finguers the module reopens it in good position and then uncheck it back.

Regarding my earlier milltek module, they are still working on it. ETA unknown...

Apperently it doesn't :s as somebody else checked it too and it was already unticked aswell (but also didn't had labels on the box so we don't know if the above is correct).
Personally also still looking for conformation or a decent 'oem' fix (manual controle over the flaps....in any mode).
