Stolen recovered RS6, vin changed

So what's happened here then, have they had something stuck over the vin? Glass looks damaged

The idea is to take a VIN from another car and put it on the stolen one. Doesn't exactly look seamless from the photos though!

Surely there are some other unique identifiers you would think?

Anyway, a good reminder for all the folk on the forums to take security seriously.

Easy to identify the original VIN and replace. But resale will be a PITA.
