Linn is not that popular here, price is one factor and competition from native manufacturers. It Naim for me, yes, it's pricey but it's epic. And there's no bi or tri amp business. Just one dirty whacking amp and a separate power supply. Thankfully I've been able to do cinema in the living room and hifi elsewhere to get the best of both worlds.

Linn is native - unless Scotland get devolution !

This pile has previously shaken small objects off the sideboard in the adjacent dinning room. I gave up trying to replicate the real HiFi sensation in the car a long time ago. For one thing I cannot multi-task and concentrate on the music when sharing the road with so many twonks. It is generally a fun background thing whilst I avoid the other road users and the built in system is mostly good enough for that. I will never get a Bass quality out of anything in a car after the Isobariks. I just use the iPhone6s+ into the USB socket.
