Load through Ski bag

Post by mjwebb48 » Tue Mar 22, 2016 2:29 pm

Im off to Courchevel for a weeks skiing in the car at the end of this month. Does anyone have the audi ski bag?

A) How many sets of skis fit in it?
B) How many fit through load through?

Im away from the car until 2 days before I go and have just thought about this.

Ive got a hatch bag fitted at mo and wont bother taking it all out if I need a roof box.

Any help much apreciated

I have the bag (freebie from dealer), and will be home tomorrow so can check.
I'm guessing it takes two pairs, but will confirm.

Ok...the bag is big! I would say 4 pairs comfortable, depending on width and how many poles.
My skis are in France with my family at the moment but found one mid-size and 2 kids slalom sets as below. Lots of room left

The hatch opening is smaller - depends on width and where bindings are compared to gap. Two pairs in the bag would be fine I'm sure. If you need more than that let me know and I'll take bag and skis down from attic tonight, and see exactly what fits.

Thanks mate! We've got three sets to go in so by the sounds of it should be good. 2 sets of twin tips and a bigger powder ski.
Bit of shuffling about but both two tips are fairly short. Very kind thank you.

No problem

Just to round up...
Here are same three skis in bag in boot. No poles, but plenty room left in bag and load-through.
