Sorry missed that.....same as me then....can't help feeling it's still needs a drop?

Front looks good....not so sure about rear? Spacers make wheels look like they stick out too far IMO

Of course a narrower spacer may help this.

Want to drop mine but in still under Audi warranty for another 6 months so holding back till then.

On Drc have the kW adjustable kit but haven't fitted yet. Doesn't need much of a drop. Prob 10-15mm max for me.

Mmm. Looks great from behind, but from the side the spacers make the wheels look smaller in the arches and as if they are sticking out too far.
I would revert to standard.
But good thing we all like different looks. :)

Not for me guys.

I know that spacers are supposed to be safe, and I know they may make the car look better - but it is another moving part so close to the action. And if you like to unleash all those torques and horses.... why put something else into the drive train? I think for that reason it is mad, especially on a car that frankly doesn't need it.

Spacers are fine, as long as you use proper hub centric ones, and space evenly front to back, not 15 back and 10 front
Centre of gravity will tell you this and they know their stuff

Never said we can't get them or supply them

It's just we are unsure of what sizes to supply being a new model. So the few enquirers we have had we have said measure up and let us know the sizes you require

We have 10,12 and 15mm all available from stock usually

H&R naturally and hubcentric of course

Apologies if I misinterpreted you....I thought you meant you couldn't source

Could you PM cost of 10mm all round and longer bolts/locking nuts if required?

Cheers

he's realised, like in aviation, the more moving parts - the higher the risk (i.e. gearbox on a helicopter)

sensibly he's not fitted them for vain looks only. is the rs6 a serious machine, or a posing pouch (probably a big split there!!!!)

The spacers may stand the car better, but when you look through the spokes of your lovely wheels you see the spacer, and then it looks crap.

The hubs look crap anyway. Some other Audi one's have been known to rust within months too.
It's not really a moving part though is it? It is snadwich between the wheel and hub which makes it static in it's environment (yes it's actually turning but it's not turning against the wheel or hub). Not much to really go wrong is there? And lots of people have been using them on B7s and B8s for years without any mechanical issues.
The only issue here is that he will probably end up with more stone chips and that is enough to put a lot of people off rather than the moving part issue.

Don't talk wet.

They look fine, part of the hub if anything....car looks great....il get some pics....they are aluminium and I painted hubs etc anyway when I fitted them.

Ran spacers on all my cars NEVER had any issues mechanically.

Couldn't care less about a few extra "stone chips" I drive my cars like there supposed to be driven...although info keep them clean and properly maintained.

Pics to follow....it's too dark just now.

Btw

10mm front
12mm rear

Looks perfect to me as
It should have been OEM....and wheels don't stick past arches either so chipping shouldn't be too bad anyway.
