Brake deal

Post by Markp » Wed Mar 02, 2016 5:50 pm

I have been offered a set of discs and pads from an Audi dealer for £550 less than RRP. They are stock items and limited offer but I just want to check there hasn't been any change of spec/supplier on these - as I remember a number of posters having annoying issues with brake judder. The brakes on my f/l have been perfect and wondered if anyone knows if Audi has upgraded them - I would hate to end up with an old stock set than caused issues.

All sorted. They are latest part no.
So, if you need brakes, try Audi Stafford or Crewe. Or use their prices to beat your dealer price down.
I bought new disc, pads and sensors for all 4 wheels for£1199 in delivery. A £550 saving on RRP.

Audi Tetbury quoted me £1250 to supply and fit front set only :(

That's a really good deal. Is that plus or inc VAT?

I'm paying £980 inc & fitted for just front discs on my M5 & that's £280 less that a main dealer wanted.

All in, including delivery.
Worth sticking them in the garage at that price.
And my local indie will fit for no more than £150.
Total saving on local Audi dealer - just under £1000. :)

My local tyre and brake garage changed the front discs and pads on my B7 for £60.
