Knock in suspension

Post by Markp » Thu Oct 15, 2015 10:23 pm

So a 1000 miles in and I have what I think is DRC related suspension knock over bumps, manhole covers etc. Started in front O/S but now n/s and back too. Not bad but annoying enough for my wife to ask if something was loose. Spoke to my dealer and got "they all do that sir". Initially I thought it was just that the dealer had over inflated all the tyres by 15 psi but, while better, still there. Seems worse when cold.
Car will be going back for a check but just wondered whether other owners with DRC have noticed it. I see it is a common issue on the latest RS4. Just appreciate some perspective before tackling the dealer.
Thanks
Mark

Car is one month old DRC with 20's and running in Comfort or Auto.

Gutted for you.

Drive to the dealers, and leave it there till they fix it.
Do not take no for an answer

Well, do those things but don't alienate yourself in doing so. Have to give them a chance, take a tech out and show them.

First DRC issue I've heard of on an RS6.

I'm on air and the last few weeks I have noticed a strange squishing type notice from my OSF I can't seem to work out what it is. It seems to happen over speed bumps but not all the time. I'm trying at the mo to replicate that it exactly before I take mine in. Im 6000 miles in.
