My families experience over the last 12 years. All with DMS.
2003 merc 220d
2002 BMW X5 3.0d
2003 BMW 330d
2005 BMW X3 3.0d
2002 BMW M3
2007 merc c220d
2002 golf gt tdi
2005 911 c2
2009 911 c4
2007 911 turbo
2009 911 turbo
2008 cayenne gts
3 merc sprinter vans
2013 q7 3.0 tdi
2007 a5 3.0tdi Quattro
2012 BMW X5 x2
And a few another's I don't remember. We all drive our cars very hard. Tracked them around the country and not one has blown up or had dealer issues when taken into service. We've always had the option to have DMS put the standard map back on before service but thought F**k it and see what they say. But not once has anyone said anything.
Apart from once when my Q7 had a sunroof problem and Audi tech told me he would need to flash the ecu. At that point I told him that it was chipped and response was. Oh ok!!! No problem I would have seen that it was chipped but I'll make sure it won't affect the chip. By the way I have a very good relationship with my stealer and I think that my situation would possibly be different to others. I tend to find that chocolate biscuits and the odd bottle of nice red wine normally sweetens people's attitude towards you.

Did I read right earlier (probably in this thread actually) that DMS have managed the 2.8 seconds from a map on an otherwise standard C7? If so I imagine this is one of their 2 or 3 days tunes that costs a fortune and not a couple of hours jobbie? But still, no hardware changes?

Bloody hell, that's quite some list & i now only see myself as an at best reasonable DMS customer with my list of DMS tuned cars below. Rob must be a very close friend :beerchug:

I can only echo the above, but doubters & nay sayers will always be so.

To answer another question above, a Stage 2 tune does take a few days so if DMS have tuned a sub 3sec C7 RS6 then yes it would have been quite expensive & have taken a few days. The Stage 2 development for the F10 M5 & M6 was carried out on my car & they had it for a couple of weeks in total to get the tune perfect. Now are at least 4-5 in the UK running the same Stage 2 tune & about 15 running Stage 1.

Very nice. So that would have been a Stage 1 i'm guessing? Stage 1 on mine was i think 691bhp & about 600lbsft.
