Only two options i can't make my mind up on is:

Pan roof
Advanced Key

I've never had a car with a sunroof so I'm personally not that fussed about it but I always like to order cars with residual value in mind. Anyone not got pan roof and wish they had?

Advanced Key, seems like more and more cars with get this over the next few years but I'm trying to be as fruggle as possible with the spec list. What are the pros and cons of advanced key?

So my spec would be:

Daytona
Black Optics
Black Wheel
All Black/Carbon Interior
Sports Exhaust
Privacy Glass
Advanced Parking Pack
Advanced Key?
Pan Roof?

Good spec nothing missing except DRC.

I personally don't understand how anyone cannot like a sunroof. It floods the cabin with light though the glass - and with air if fully open - which is just perfect for feeling connected with the environment or hearing your exhaust on those sunny days, or just brightening up the cabin on those dreary days when there is not much natural light. Plus if you get bored of all of that and want to feel enclosed you can close the sun visor on the sunroof and its like not having one at all!

My current A6 doesn't have a sunroof but both my RS6 and RS4 did (made sure of that), and boy do I miss it - feels so cramped

Advanced key is really handy - not having to take the key out of your pocket is something you get very used to...

Haven't specc'd DRC because it's something I don't think I'll miss, driven car with and without it. Plus, DRC failure was an issue in the RS4.

Wouldn't be without advanced key.

Having keys in a pocket, or carrying something like a gym bag and not having to worry where that key is, or fumble about looking for it to press the button.

When getting out, you can leave the keys in your pocket, grab your bag, briefcase or whatever, shut the door and simply touch the handle to lock it.

Absolutely a must for me.

If you have had keyless entry before and switch to a car without it, its amazing how much you miss it.

The wife had keyless entry on her previous car and has switched to one without it. It is now one of the must haves of her next car, and it is also one of the main drawbacks making her want to change again after just 12 months or so.

Panoramic sunroof I got more for the kids in the back than myself, but over the last few days I've had chance to open it, and I'm now glad I opted for it. Great way of letting more light in and getting some sense of fresh air without the turbulence of a window down.

DRC not an issue on C6 and no stories on C7, so I think it is fair to say that's been put to bed.

Adaptive cruise.

Thanks chaps, helpful advice, Think advanced key is a must then, posts above reminded me of just how many times I've had full bags of shoppings and been struggling to find the keys on numerous pockets...

How come the boot lid opening isn't available with carbon pack?

One other thing, Is the advanced parking pack worth the extra over the regular one? I assume it just adds top view camera?

There is only one parking pack post facelift and it adds surround cameras: front rear and side cameras. Somehow it also manages to add side parking sensor functionality, too (maybe there are ultrasonic detectors in the mirrors?). I defintiely think it is worth having even if it is expensive. This car is too wide with too many invisible parts (i.e. the wheel arches) to take any risks.
