I love the pops and crackles from the Factory Sports Exhaust. Quiet with no drone if you want it to be, but giggles all round on the overrun! +800miles in to ownership and I swear it is getting louder- mind you I seldom drive with the radio on now! Black Tips in the diffuser make for a cleaner look at the rear. Generally I think cars look better with factory body parts- IMO Akra spoils the clean line that the sports black tips give. But each to their own I guess!

Audi came up trumps so getting fitted next Thursday. About the same price as the factory system as well. Tips changing to black as well.

Can't wait :)

@TSL - Where are you getting your sport exhaust fitted? I have a C7 with the standard system.

Directly at Audi Teesside pal. I can get you part numbers if you wish. For Audi to accept it completely you need to change the tailpipes as well. Crazy but personally quite fancy the black pipes.

Any Audi dealer will be able to fit it for you and complete warranty cover.

For me this was the only 'must have' option mine didn't have. So pleased it is being officially retrofitted.

If you could please PM me the part numbers and roughly what is cost if you don't mind as I am thinking of getting the sport exhaust fitted.

Just about to arrange for collection of my new RS6 in a couple of weeks.

As a result of this thread, I have been able to arrange for a sports exhaust to be fitted to the car before I collect it. I heard it on a car this morning and it sounds fantastic.

Whats more, the dealer fit upgrade is less than the brochure price for the upgrade, so Happy Days :-)

Can't wait :-))))

Excellent news Nick!

It's probably the reason that mine is delayed as it's on back order due to no stock ha ha!!!!! ;)

Out of interest what was your price fitted? Mine was just over the brochure price but they insist it needs the black tailpipes as well. Which is another £400.

The centre section is £450 + VAT and fitting.

Glad to be of service.

Now when you want to know more about Google Earth let me know ;)

As an option it would have been £1000 but sports box and tail pipes added up to £830 fitted !!!!

TBH they did mention the parts were on back order but should be with them with 2 weeks - hopefully !

So anyone want to buy an original c7 box ? - if I can sell that it will offset the price even more :-)

So what's this about Google Earth ? ;-)

Do you mind sending me over the invoice as I will query that with my Audi garage. As they want near £1100. Interesting to see where it is.

Basically retrofitting Audi Connect into the car. It's brilliant!! Can give you more info if you wish?

Pre FL Connect should be easy. Post FL Connect not so.
