Bodes well for RS C7 if true....

Post by GLM » Sat May 12, 2012 8:39 am

Just looking about and saw this article -

http://www.worldcarfans.com/11205104420 ... in-0-60mph

No idea how true or conditions in which the test was done as the article is light on details... but if true, then the RS version will be epic!

They probably had the 1ft rollout option set on the V-Box.

With s tronic I'm sure a C7 RS will do sub 4

A mapped C6 does 3.7 all day long WITHOUT launch control and s-tronic

I can do sub 4 secs to 60 with my MRC stage 2 C5 too, will get some official times recorded at GTI International next month.
I'm impressed with the C7 S6 though!

My car did exactly 4.4 seconds Vbox as standard with 1x passenger in the wet, now MRC have fettled with it, I'm sure I can better that as have 62PS/171nm more. There is a guy on RS6.com that Vbox'd his at 3.7 seconds and posted a photo, but later reckoned he did 3.5secs with no photo. That could just be the Yanks for you though! I'll find out next month at GTi International. I'd be happy with 4.0-4.2. Anyone else going?

Im sure I got sub 4 in the old MTM +....Must have been 3.921054 sex, still like the look of the ass of that C7. The arches make the hind look mahoosively fat.

Ahhh, If only I had a spare £80K, saying tha, I spec'd a B8 online and that was £72K  ....*gulp*

Engine will produce same power density in RS6 format as Macca MP4-12C. That's going to be a lot.

Doodlebug ... great video ! I'm in the market for a C7.

Let's hope Audi rectify the mistakes they made when they created the C6.
