Warranty

Went to the Nissan dealer today and they have agreed to replace the gearbox bell housing (Common fault) under warranty even though the car has been modified and tracked. The data was pulled form the car, sent to Japan and approved within 30 minutes.
Take note Audi... If it's a known issue, don't make us fight to get things fixed

Bet you were sweating in those 30mins though Mr T. Great service from them. What's actually wring with the housing?

Having been in that situation many times, I expected the worst so was actually quite surprised. It seems the bell housing just wears out, although I don't really know!!

Told you Phil
Some of that will be down to Middlehurst's stature as i reckon a couple NHPC's would have delivered a twitchy bum debate.

This new modified bell, does it change the penis extension you get when you own a GT-R?
I saw the Wheeler dealer episode the other day with the r33, and Mike Chewer of lots of food reminded me of you!

Reminds me when I took my friend to pick up his car in May 09, one of the first in the country
The sat him down and asked him to sign some disclosure jobby saying that any tweaking he did would invalidate the warranty blah blah because Datsun had made the car the best and didn't need any more work doing to it blah blah blah. He didn't even read it and just signed it knowing that the next day it was going somewhere to have parts replaced!!!
3 years later it is now running about 1000bhp

Didn't you say at ADI that it had a rattly exhaust too?
Glad that Nissan are replacing the bell housing

Hopefully they will fix that too, but at the moment they seem to be suffering from typical dealeritis (Was hoping it might be a different story for Nissan HPC Dealers
).
