Saw this a few days ago & kind of pleased it's getting the exposure it rightly deserves. It's a horrific display of stupidity & lack of experience, however in such an environment that's plain dangerous. Makes me laugh on the GT-R forum where his pal tries to defend his poor driving & gives a totally fabricated version of events & then the ACTUAL other parties turn up. This is why we all love t'internet.

One thing's for sure, i'll be unlikely to book another event with MSV after such a poor demonstration of organisation. Letting a total novice on track with no briefing & then with lap after lap of poor driving & several complaints not pulling the driver off.

I'm on GTROC as my Le Mans crew are GTR owners, that thread was a good read, I wonder whether the 'friend' was probably the guy himself posting to try and defend himself.....

It also only serves to stoke the theory that GTR's drive themselves on track...any other 500PS+ car driven like that and he would have come off

That's a very good point & a real shame really as they don't/can't but they as kind of demonstrated in that video do make a very poor driver a very quick poor driver.

I can only imagine what would have happened had he driven like that round Nordschleife? Fairly sure a biker would have ended up dead & a trail of destruction :bash:

Let's hope if nothing else the driver has learnt something from this episode but it still doesn't excuse the driving & certainly doesn't excuse MSV's dangerous approach.

So, who was it then as I am sure I have seen that car somewhere else?

That kind of driving Paul, would have been spotted by the time he was 5kms in and been pulled at Breidsheid. Dreadful and seriously dangerous.

Cheers
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Not even sure he'd have made it 5miles without killing someone given that display. Let's just hope he NEVER decides to the play place.

As an aside, when do the authorities/owners usually publish next years TF dates?

All the stuff about organisers and him not getting black flagged aside (I've got zero trackday experience so not going to comment on etiquette or rules), why would you only be using one hand on the wheel when driving quickly!? He's allegedly an army sergeant on some terrorism squad (sounds like bs way of justifying his again alleged pit-lane behaviour and attitude, he's clearly just fat) he should be physically able to hold himself up through corners without propping an arm on the window or hand on the passenger seat, or he should get some harnesses fitted.

I'd be so embarrassed if I drove my car like that, I wouldn't post it online, I'd spend time learning how to drive properly to make the most of my GT-R's performance rather than just throw it around a little track.
