Now is not the time to be buying a 2nd hand Porsche, prices are crazy.
I'd be trying a different dealer as well, all treat you differently.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Didn't even get a chance to try any, let alone buy

Funny thing is my available budget has increased a lot in the last 18 months, which I made them aware of.

Yeah, no way they are seeing any business from me now.

If you could hold on another 6 months hopefully the shortage of microchip (whatever they're called) should be sorted and the used car prices will start to drop for you.
I looked at the prices of 991.2 4s' the other day just for shites and giggles, they've gone up about 8k since Christmas

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, I'm in no rush. Still love the RS6.

My problem is storage/garaging at the moment.

At least viewings of my home are picking up, 1 today and tomorrow.

Yeah, I was looking at 2017 911 gts' last year and they were around £80k.
We've been offered £6k more than we paid for our Macan in April.
Car market is nuts at the moment.

This is the only car I need for now. Seriously addictive.

It's ruined the idea of an ICE suv, estate though. For me, it's ice sports / super car and everything else is EV.

That’s a somewhat different prospect to a 911. Are you actually interested in ordering?

I’m likely to move the F12 on. Ferrari ownership is a million miles away from Porsche and further still from Audi. You need to be prepared…..

My situation has changed a lot in the last 2/3 years.

Yes, I'm now interested to buy a Ferrari, instead of a Porsche although I do still look at 911.2 turbo S's. 458/488/F12 initially but they then booked me a test drive in a F8 2 months ago or so.

My problem is garaging/parking such a car where I live.

Tried to sell my home last year, will go on the market again this Spring.

I will be moving to another property I own, a marina penthouse but again no garaging.

Will try living there to see if I like, if not I will sell that too.

Then I will build again, or buy a property with at least a double garage and will be buying then.

I looked at storage but doesn't suit me for now, so although frustrating I will wait.

Ferrari colchester are fully aware of my situation, they invited me to the 296 launch, at the moment I'm not looking to buy.

I didn't realise you had a F12, how long have you had it? Ho do you find it?

I'm piqued by the myth that it's an animal. Although I'm very attracted to a mid engined car. Until I drive I'm open to what exactly I will buy.

Depends, I guess

911 get in a mind go, anywhere, anytime.

F car, not so. Don’t really do rain. Definitely do crowds. You cannot turn up anywhere unnoticed!

The F12 requires 100% attention, you cannot take your eye off for a moment. Really fast steering and boggling performance. Delivered in a different way to a 911. Tyres MUST be warm else the tail will wag the dog. Come to the realisation that I just won’t drive it enough, it really is a warm Sunday car.

It’s a beautiful thing, though plenty of foibles.

Your paying for running gear, not fit and finish. If you’re vaguely OCD about these things expect to be triggered!

A good time to get out, IMO a very bad time to get in.

And, yes, secure garage is a must.

I’m going to get back into a new TTS.
