Surprised me too, as Doodlebug says it should help the residuals.

What's the wait for a RRS?

I'm in the same boat, ordered my GTS in November. I'm hoping to get it later this year, hopefully Autumn. The residuals on the Macan are amazing really, even worst case the balloon after 3 years is 60% of list price. In reality they loose far less unless you go for a crazy spec. The cheapest on Autotrader is over a year old, quite basic spec and is £45K, they are £45k new today and that's after a couple of price increases. I looked at the F-Pace but the salesman thought the residuals would be poor on the petrol and I don't want a diesel.

I keep changing my mind, luckily it's months before I'll need to fully decide. If I was finalising today it would be Carmine red, even though it's a total ripoff, standard GTS 20" alloys, pan roof, Nav/CarPlay, heated front and rear seats and a couple of other small bits. I'm struggling with the interior, the standard part leather/alcantara is nice enough, the GTS interior with the red elements is very nice but another rip off, also quite fancy the red and black leather, really stuck on the interior, too much choice.

Have you seen a Macan in carmine red? I laid eyes on with with colour coded wheels. It was horrid. I'd see one before you commit.

I've seen a Cayenne with black wheels and liked it, colour coded wheels is not a good look in any colour. I won't order until I've seen one in the flesh though.

I should have been clearer, it's 9-12mths from today but should be 6-9mths from the Summer when i'd need to be ordering (of course this could all change so will be monitoring closely).

Should be a fantastic motor Paul. Depending on whether Porsche offer Voodoo on the Gen II & the cost it would be my preferred colour, but not paying dearly for an exclusive colour so i may stick with Sapphire unless new colours are offered in the Summer which i'm told 'could' happen.

No not yet, had a test drive in a Macan S, which we both liked, as Doodlebug said, the interior is way better than anything Audi has to offer.
I've got a cayenne and was given a Macan turbo as a courtesy car and I have to say it was awful. Had 21's though and that could be the problem. The ride was terrible and crashy and it only had 100miles on it. Had it two days did several hundred miles and couldn't wait to get back in my cayenne. I'm trading up to a cayenne turbo s now as the wife hated the Macao so much. So watch the spec as gts harder suspension and big wheels can't be a good combo

Thanks for the heads up Andy, the car we drove had 21" wheels too, the ride was firm but not too harsh. Didn't really drive it for that long but will have a extended test drive when the dealership gets their demo.

Which Porsche dealership do you use?

Macan GTS

Right combo of wheels and suspension is key.

Cayenne is a big old mo fo. Being replaced shortly I think.

You can drive a Macan like a car....not so a Cayenne.
