Do like these
Had a 300BHP diesel most of last week and the traction was atrocious so it would have to be a 4 wheel drive one of a sort
How well do the Porsches map?RS6chris! wrote:rtd wrote:how does that compare to your ex-C6 chris?
Hi mate
Chalk and cheese!!!
Not as quick as my mapped 6 of course....but dynamically and handling wise makes the RS6 look embarrassing to be fair.
It really does handle for a boat....great fun when pressing on....took me a while to really appreciate handling...mines fully loaded (apart from ceramics)with PCM and sports chrono pack and all kind of electronic aids for dampers and throttle response etc so you have numerous options for ride height, quality, damper stiffness etc
Build quality and overall feel is Miles ahead of the C6....but it should be of course due to age of C6.
Quality of plastics, leather etc blow the Audi away.
I do miss the oomppphhhhh of the RS...but day to day this is the better car to live with.
Of course looks wise the Panny divides opinion.....but in the flesh I think they look great, awesome little details that photos don't do justice.
When she's shone up with chassis in lowest setting and spoiler deployed she stands well!!!
I do miss an RS though....probably C7 next.

thanks for the post interesting reading and sort of what I expected. I had my c6 setup by centre gravity a few weeks back ad the handling is now night and day, this element of car ownership is sadly neglected and not fully understood by most owners but a well set up car with respects to geometry makes the world of difference.
