F - the Peak District

Thought I'd catch a little bit of dry weather today, but looked out of the window at 1030 and the rain was coming down, but thought what the heck !

did a 100 mile return run into the base of peak district and back.

scoped out a route, and wow, the B5056 from just north of Ashbourne up to where is meets the A6 is just amazing !

its 16 miles of pure B road blast. did it both ways, so 32 miles of pure enjoyment (except when you are behind a Vectra!)

Will be a great route to do at 6/7am when its quiet.

Great road, tight twists and lots of elevation and interesting road. Definitely a new favourite of mine I'll be returning to.

Only down side was its a 50mph road. to be fair, with 550PS through the rear wheels I wasn't going much over that but I can imagine in the dry you will be at risk of unwanted attention. a break of dawn run would be advised.

The F is really quite surprising in the wet. You can really hustle it along without it tying to kill you, but rest assured it will gladly do so with a small prod of the right foot at the wrong time.

anyhow, time for some pics

Still love it, but wonder if the calipers would look better in a different colour?

I'll be OK on P Zero's I'll just wear my winter slippers

I just won't use it in the snow or minus temps which isn't a hardship in England

cheers dude

no way, i love the yellow cali's .... makes the ceramics stand out a mile and they are super rare as no one in their right mind has spec'd the £8.5k ceramic & forged wheel option, so only JLR cars seem to have this option, so makes them really rare in the wild

The yellow just makes me think of piss though, and i'm external of the ''piss & slippers'' brigade.
