Nice. You escaped Bigfoot then who was coming up behind you.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

How was it though? What tyres were you running?

It was actually really really good!

Really enjoyed hustling the beast down some epic welsh B roads. Did Bala, EVO triangle and up to Anglesey.

The big old Jaaaag was superb.

ZF8 is an absolute peach, really didn't leave me wanting at all

I've done this same trip in a DSG RS 3 and an R-Tronic R8 and the ZF was as near as damn it the same as DSG

I think it's running Bridgestones (not checked tbh) but the grip was actually pretty good.

Short shifting and using the torque helps an being smooth and flowing with the road

Brakes were superb also, no fade and always there when you need em.

Mightly impressed

And 40mpg to boot !

The road is clear, I'd hope you'd not need 4WD!

But given there is snow on the side of the road it doesn't take an arse to figure out that it is fecken cold !

RWD + 600Nm = quattro needed (if you are a pussy)
